Merry Hill is a ward in the City of Wolverhampton, covering parts of Bradmore, Castlecroft, and Finchfield. Merry Hill is the fourth least deprived ward of Wolverhampton (after Tettenhall Wightwick, Penn and Tettenhall Regis): 17th out of 20.
Merry Hill has a population of around 12,000. Life expectancy is high (81 for men and 83 for women) but 17% of our children live in Poverty whilst only 2.5% of 16/17 year olds are not in education, employment, or training. Around 7% of households rent in Merry Hill and 61% are fairly satisfied with their neighbourhood.
